HZ202 Second Reforming Catalyst

Application
HZ201 is a thermo-protective agent, composed of MgAl2O4 spinel and highly sintered nickel oxide. It can be used as the top layer in a secondary reformer to protect the catalyst below it. HZ202 and HZ203 are reforming catalysts with nickel as the active element and high temperature resistant MgAl2O4 spinel as carrier. They are suitable for secondary reforming in the hydrocarbon steam reforming process for ammonia and hydrogen production.

Characteristics
The catalysts contain very few impurities which could migrate a high temperature and have stable performance, good activity and strength. HZ201 and HZ202 are made as spheres to provide the best heat and mass transfer. HZ203 has grooved sides to provide more surface, convex ends to provide better heat and mass transfer and highest surface area to provide higher activity.
